Benefit eligible employees may elect dental insurance coverage. Employees may choose between two types of dental plans; Indemnity plans or Pre-paid plans. Indemnity plans are similar to PPO plans and Prepaid plans are similar to HMO plans.

When choosing a dental insurance plan, personal needs such as covered benefits, provider availability, and out-of-pocket expenses should be considered. Employees residing outside the state of Arizona should choose the two Indemnity plan. The Prepaid plan ONLY covers emergency care outside Arizona.
