Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) Rate Changes

Effective July 1, 2012, the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) rate will change. The retirement contribution portion will increase from 10.5% to 10.9% (both employer and employee contributions). The long term disability portion will remain at .24%.

Therefore, the total contribution will increase from 10.74% to 11.14%. The new contribution rate will apply to all classified staff and those service professionals, faculty and administrators who participate with ASRS. The new rate will be applied as of the July 13, 2012 paycheck.
