Arizona State Retirement System Rate Increase

Effective July 1, 2010, the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) rate will change. The retirement contribution portion will increase from 9.00 to 9.60 percent. The long term disability portion will decrease from 0.40 percent to 0.25 percent. Therefore, the total contribution will increase from 9.40 percent to 9.85 percent. Employees will see the increase take effect on the July 16, 2010 paycheck. The new contribution rate will affect all classified staff and those service professionals and faculty who participate with ASRS.
