Planning to Retire in 2010?
The Member Services Division of the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) conducts the following educational meetings for all members who may be planning to retire within the year:
Getting Ready to Retire: In this meeting, you’ll learn about your pension benefit and how it’s calculated, options for retiree health insurance and other benefits, return to work options and more. Members who register for this meeting will receive a personal retirement benefit estimate and assistance in filling out the proper paperwork. (Note: a meeting should also be scheduled with an NAU benefits advisor in order to review NAU or university specific information.)
Know Your Insurance: This meeting is designed to provide more detailed information to ASRS members about the ASRS health insurance plans and benefits available in retirement. You'll learn about health insurance options, meet providers, learn about the ASRS Premium Benefit, and how health insurance costs are determined. These sessions are held in Phoenix and Tucson.
