Special Information - Northern Arizona University is conducting a national search to fill a non-tenure track position in Marketing, International Business and/or Management (with a global focus) for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. Renewal is based on successful annual review and continued funding of the position.
- Location: The preferred location for this position is the Phoenix metropolitan area in which the program's enrollments are growing most rapidly. However, candidates who wish to locate in either Tucson or Yuma, Arizona will also be given strong consideration. Travel for meetings and other job related duties is an expectation of the position.

Job Description - Support the Bachelor of Business Administration program by teaching upper-division undergraduate courses in marketing and/or international business. Teaching assignments will generally involve twelve credit hours per semester in the fall and spring semesters and include both face-to-face and online classes.
- Work in a collegial atmosphere with other faculty to create and implement innovative curricula for the BBA program.
- Actively participate in the program's accreditation efforts and the development and implementation of its outcomes assessment program.
- Provide academic and career advisement to students.
Minimum Qualifications - Earned doctorate in Marketing, International Business, and/or Management.
- Ability to meet ACBSP* professional qualification requirements.
- OR
- Earned doctorate in related field.
- Five years professional work experience in Marketing, International Business, and/or Management.
- Ability to meet ACBSP* professional qualification requirements.
- OR
- Earned Juris Doctor with a masters degree in Marketing, International Business, and/or Management, or related field.
- Five years university-level teaching experience in Marketing, International Business, and/or Management or a minimum of two years teaching experience and five years professional experience in these disciplines or a combination thereof.
- Ability to meet ACBSP* professional qualification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated excellence in teaching, including via distance learning technologies.
- Evidence of experience teaching in Marketing, International Business, or Management (with a global focus).
- Evidence of experience in gaining programmatic accreditation.
- Evidence of experience utilizing student outcomes assessments.
- Evidence of an active scholarly record.
- Evidence of a commitment to working in a diverse faculty, staff and student environment.
General Information -
NAU-Yuma is a Branch Campus of NAU in Flagstaff. NAU is a comprehensive, Doctoral I institution with over 20,000 students in attendance between the residential campus in Flagstaff and over 30 statewide sites. NAU- Yuma has a primary role in providing a wide range of bachelor and graduate degrees in the Lower Colorado River area of Arizona and California, with a growing role in providing degrees throughout Arizona. The Yuma Branch Campus has approximately 700 students on campus, while offering distance programs to an additional 900 students off campus. The Yuma Branch Campus has been designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution.
The BBA program, which began in the spring 2008 semester, serves students throughout the state with the exception of the Northern Arizona University Mountain Campus in Flagstaff.
Northern Arizona University requires satisfactory results for the following: a criminal background investigation, an employment history verification and a degree verification (in some cases) prior to employment. You may also be required to complete a fingerprint background check.
Salary - Commensurate with education and experience.
