Registering for Orientations   Print
In order to register for New Employee Orientation or Benefits Orientation, an employee will need to:
  • Have already started their employment at NAU.
  • Have their LOUIE user ID and password. This is the same ID and password that you use to login to your university email. It will also be the same information you need to enroll in your benefits.
If you know your user ID and password, you may register for orientations at Training Registration.

If you do not know your user ID and password, please follow the steps below:
  • Go to the NAU homepage (www.nau.edu) and click on the NAU Directory box (lower left side).
  • Type your first and last name into the search box. If your information comes up in the directory, then you’ve been entered in LOUIE – the university database. (NOTE: If your information does not come up in the directory, please check back after a couple days.)
  • Call the Information Technology Services Solution Center at 928-523-1511 to obtain your user ID and password.
  • Once you know your user ID and password, you may register for orientations at Training Registration.
If you would like to secure a spot in one of our orientations and still do not have your user ID and password OR if you are a supervisor who would like to secure a spot for one of your new employees, you may email training@nau.edu with the following information:
  • Name of course (benefits and/or new employee orientation)
  • Date of session you are requesting
  • Employee name
  • Department
  • Start date of the new position
  • Phone number to reach you
