SUMMARY:
Post Doctoral Research Associates are responsible for performing high levels of research and presenting results.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform research through experimentation and appropriate literature
- Responsible for compiling reports and sending them out for appropriate publication
- Present findings at local, regional or national meetings when necessary
- Responsible for maintenance and inventory of lab equipment and supplies
- Maintain carefully written and stored records about progress and process of research
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to design and implement experiments in the subject discipline
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of the subject discipline.
- Skill in analyzing and evaluating data
- Ability to work with people from a variety of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work collaboratively with a research group or team
- Knowledge of modern research methods, data collection and analysis
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a Ph.D. in area of assignment. Required experience can range from
2-6 years, depending on individual position.
