Benefit Orientation - Learn About Your Benefit Options!
The Human Resources Department presents a two hour Benefits Orientation that provides a comprehensive overview of NAU's benefit options. Click below to view session times and registration informantion.
Benefit Orientation Registration
Important Deadlines for New Employees:
- You must enroll in optional benefits within 31 days of your date of hire. If you don't, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period - usually in the fall. Enrollment includes submitting all required forms and supporting documentation and completing the on-line enrollment.
- All optional insurance and flexible spending account (FSA) effective dates will be the first of the month following the new employee's completed enrollment. To complete our on-line enrollment process, you will need an activated jan account / email account.
A benefits orientation packet will be sent to your hiring department. This packet provides specific information on your mandatory, optional, and university benefits. The packet will also include the New Hire Benefit forms and instructions on how to complete your on-line benefits enrollment.
