Information Change - Employee   Print 

Email address, Emergency Contact, and Home or Mailing Address

Employees can update their email address, emergency contact, and home or mailing address directly through the LOUIE system. Log into the LOUIE system at https://peoplesoft.nau.edu and follow the path below:

  • Home / HR Self Service / Employee / Tasks

Once on this page select either:

  • Email Addresses
  • Emergency Contact
  • Home and Mailing Address

In each section, employees are able to view current information. Change information by clicking either on the Edit or Update button.

In addition to updating an address with NAU, employees need to update their address with their retirement plan.

  • Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) - Employees contributing to the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) must complete an ASRS Change of Address/Name Form. This form can be mailed directly to ASRS.
  • Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) - Employees contributing to the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) must contact their vendor directly. Vendor contact information can be found at Contact Information - Mandatory Retirement.

Name Change

Employees who have changed their name must first apply for a new Social Security Card with the Social Security Administration (SSA). SSA can be reached by calling 800-772-1213 or visit the local Flagstaff office located at 1585 S. Plaza Way, Suite 130.

Once a new Social Security Card has been issued, employees need to contact the Human Resources Department to update their name change with both Payroll and Benefits.

  • Payroll - To update payroll information, employees must complete a new I-9 Form. Print and return the I-9 with a copy of the Social Security Card to the Human Resources Department. Please print "NAME CHANGE" on the top of the form.
  • Benefits - To update benefit information, employees must submit an on-line Qualified Life Event Form. Complete and submit it to the Human Resources Department. A copy of the new Social Security Card will be required.

In addition to submitting the change to NAU, employees need to update their name change with their retirement plan.
