Many employees have asked how they might be able to estimate the impact furlough hours will have on a given paycheck. The estimator below will let you know what the dollar decrease is based on the information you enter from your paycheck and the number of hours you want to estimate.

For example, if you enter your paycheck info and then want to see what the estimated impact will be if you take four hours during a pay period, the estimator will calculate that for you.

You may also want to enter the total hours you’ll be required to take (see the Mandatory Furlough Plan Guidelines to see how this is calculated) in order to see an estimate of the overall dollar impact on your take home pay.

Please remember that this is only an estimate based on the paycheck information you enter. Any change to your paycheck deductions can impact the result.
