The official logo for Northern Arizona University has been designed to function as a part of a flexible and cohesive visual system. This logo must appear on all university publications that are distributed to the public. The logo must be at least 5/16" tall on printed materials. University Marketing will provide an appropriate logo for your publication at no charge. There are variations of the logo available for download on the Marketing web site for use on web pages or printed materials.
- The NAU logo may not be altered in any way and it may not be used with additional borders, ornamentation, or overprinting, nor should other logos incorporate elements of the official logo. Organizations not affiliated with the university must request written permission from the director of University Marketing to use the logo in printed or electronic media. Organizations that wish to market commercial items with the logo or other university marks should contact NAU's trademark and licensing coordinator, Dave Brown, at (928) 523-3440.

The words "Northern Arizona University" may never be separated from the logo, except by written permission from the director of University Marketing. Standard NAU Blue is PMS 281, hexadecimal #003366. Standard NAU Sage Green is PMS 5555, hexadecimal #557565. The Standard NAU Gold is PMS 116 (coated)-use PMS 115 for uncoated, hexadecimal #ffcc00.
