1.06 Change of Employment Between State Agencies

The purpose of this policy is to establish rules for managing issues associated with changes
in employment between state agencies.

Change of Employment Between Institutions and Other State Agencies

An eligible employee who changes employment from one Arizona state agency to another, within 30 calendar days, may maintain all accrued sick leave hours.

The university does not ordinarily accept transfers of accrued vacation hours from any other institution or agency. However, the university will accept the transferred employee's service credits for vacation computation purposes.

An employee coming from another agency or university will serve the regular six-month probationary period.
